Instead of painting walls and raised beds, white render gives a permanent colour, some even incorporate fungicide to deter green algae discolouration.
Concrete Block (Walls)
Concrete block walls provide one of the most structurally sound boundaries in a garden. Depending on the purpose of the wall, either as a boundary, or as a retaining wall for soil, different blocks are used. Hollow blocks are very stable, and ideal for walls 120cm and taller, they can also be reinforced with steel rods and infilled with poured concrete.
Solid blocks are thinner, and generally used for smaller walls.
Various colours and textured finishes are available.
